Help Renew the Promise
Avow recognizes that its continued success depends on the generous investment of a group of devoted friends—friends who will be given the opportunity to lead in renewing the promise of Avow. These benefactors know and appreciate the significance of Avow in the lives of the terminally ill in Collier County and in their own lives. Donors to the Promise Campaign may realize substantial income and tax benefits, depending on the type of gift donated to Avow. For most donors, there are three methods of giving:
• Outright Gifts
Gifts of cash, securities, real estate and other tangible personal property are tax deductible as allowable by law. Gifts of highly appreciated securities and property may offer attractive tax advantages to donors. Pledges may be paid over three to five years.
• Life Income Gifts
Life income gifts will provide Avow the use of funds for years to come. By establishing life income gifts, donors have the satisfaction of making a gift to Avow while retaining the income from the assets for their lifetime or the lifetime of a loved one.
• Bequests
Gifts through wills build the endowment and ensure that the donor’s contribution and name are preserved in perpetuity. Bequests often provide the best opportunity to fulfill a special interest in or make a significant gift to Avow.
We invite you to partner with us in creating a legacy at Avow Hospice.
