PAWS & PASTAbilities Fundraiser

Pets & People Hit the “Runway” at Fund Raiser for Avow Hospice Pet Program

Avow Hospice and its volunteer PAWS Community Advisory Board hosted a “PAWS and PASTAbilities” fund raiser for the Avow pet services program on Thursday, March 26. The event held at The Club at Mediterra in Naples featured a pet and people fashion show, dinner and silent auction.  The event raised over $16,000. Event proceeds will be directed to help cover costs associated with the Pets Are Wonderful Souls (PAWS) program at Avow Hospice. The PAWS program at Avow Hospice trains volunteers and their pets to provide visits to hospice patients and also offers pet loss/bereavement and pet memorial services for the community at large.
